Privacy policy
Asset Manager, last updated 31 October 2026
Asset Manager keeps everything you enter on your iPhone. We don't collect, store, sell or share any of your data, and the app has no accounts, analytics, advertising or tracking.
What stays on your iPhone
Your accounts, balances, currencies, rates, recurring payments, the change log and your settings live in a database inside the app. They are not sent anywhere. Deleting the app deletes them, unless you saved a backup.
Backups
Settings → Backup makes a file with all of your data and hands it to the iOS share sheet. You choose where it goes, such as Files, iCloud Drive or AirDrop, and that place's own privacy terms then apply. Restoring reads a file you pick. The app never uploads a backup by itself.
Exchange rates
To value your balances, the app asks two free public services for today's rates, without any key or account:
- the European Central Bank's reference rates, through Frankfurter, for currencies;
- CoinGecko for crypto prices.
These requests carry only the currency codes asked for. Like any web request, they show your IP address to those services. Nothing about your balances is sent. You can type in a rate instead of using these services.
Face ID
If you turn on the Face ID lock, iOS checks your face and only tells the app whether it matched. The app never sees or stores any face data.
Children
The app is not aimed at children and collects nothing from anyone.
